The Znaniecki Conference

Description:
Florian Znaniecki was a Professor of Sociology at UIUC from 1940 - 1958. He co-authored (with W.I. Thomas) the renowned immigration study, The Polish Peasant in Europe and America. Day 1 of our gathering will consist of presentations based on and inspired by Professor Znaniecki"s scholarship. Day 2 will continue with the Annual Transnational Workshop and a theme of "transmigration."
